1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Service Pros website (servicepros.la) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Service Pros operates in the State of California. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and applicable federal laws of the United States.

2. Nature of Our Services - Important Notice

Please read this section carefully to understand our role.

Service Pros is a lead generation and referral service. We connect consumers who have been in vehicle accidents with our network of independent, third-party collision repair centers and auto body shops ("Network Partners") who may be able to assist with their vehicle repairs.

Service Pros does not perform collision repair, auto body work, or any vehicle repair services.All repair work, deductible assistance programs, gas gift cards, rental car arrangements, and related services are provided directly by our Network Partners at their sole discretion.

Our services are limited to:

  • Collecting information about your accident and vehicle
  • Connecting you with qualified Network Partners in your area
  • Facilitating communication between you and Network Partners
  • Providing customer service support for the referral process

3. Network Partners

Our Network Partners are independent collision repair centers and auto body shops that have agreed to participate in our referral network. These businesses:

  • Are independently owned and operated businesses
  • Are not employees, agents, or representatives of Service Pros
  • Set their own pricing, policies, warranties, and promotional offers
  • Are solely responsible for all repair work performed on your vehicle
  • Are licensed and regulated by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR)

Service Pros does not guarantee the availability, quality, or outcome of services provided by Network Partners. Any agreements you enter into with a Network Partner are solely between you and that business.

4. Deductible Assistance Program - Important Disclaimer

Please read this section carefully as it contains important limitations.

The deductible assistance program is offered by participating Network Partners (independent collision repair centers), NOT by Service Pros. Service Pros advertises this program on behalf of our Network Partners. The following terms and conditions apply:

  • Provided by Network Partners: Deductible assistance is offered and provided solely by participating Network Partners at their discretion. Service Pros does not provide or guarantee any deductible assistance.
  • Eligibility: Not all customers will qualify for deductible assistance. Eligibility is determined by the Network Partner on a case-by-case basis.
  • Amount Varies: The amount of deductible coverage may vary and is at the sole discretion of the Network Partner (collision center) only after the insurance adjuster has given an estimate on your vehicle repair.
  • Maximum Limits: Deductible assistance is subject to maximum limits (up to $1,000) and may be less depending on the repair scope and estimate.
  • California Law Compliance: All deductible assistance is provided in accordance with California Insurance Code and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Insurance Requirements: Customer must have valid auto insurance coverage and an approved claim with their insurance carrier.
  • No Guarantee: Submitting your information through our website does not guarantee eligibility for deductible assistance, connection with a Network Partner, or any specific assistance amount.

5. Gas Gift Card Program

The gas gift card offer is provided by participating Network Partners, NOT by Service Pros. The following conditions apply:

  • Offered and provided solely by participating Network Partners at their discretion
  • Available only for not-at-fault accidents with valid third-party insurance claims
  • Gift card value (up to $500) depends on repair scope and eligibility as determined by the Network Partner
  • Gift card is provided by the Network Partner upon completion of repairs
  • Cannot be combined with other offers or promotions
  • Subject to verification and approval by the Network Partner
  • Service Pros does not provide or guarantee any gift cards

6. User Responsibilities

By using our referral services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in all forms and communications
  • Not misrepresent accident circumstances or insurance information
  • Understand that Service Pros is a referral service, not a repair provider
  • Conduct your own due diligence before engaging any Network Partner
  • Direct any repair-related questions, concerns, or disputes to the Network Partner directly
  • Understand that any agreements with Network Partners are separate from these terms

7. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such collection and processing.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): If you are a California resident, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the CCPA, including:

  • The right to know what personal information is collected
  • The right to delete personal information
  • The right to opt-out of the sale of personal information
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

8. Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and email address and checking the consent box on our forms, you agree to:

  • Receive phone calls, text messages (SMS), and emails from Service Pros regarding your inquiry and services
  • Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages
  • You may opt-out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
  • You may opt-out of emails by clicking the unsubscribe link

This consent is given in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and California's Invasion of Privacy Act.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Service Pros provides referral services only and shall not be liable for any actions, services, workmanship, or conduct of Network Partners
  • Service Pros is not responsible for any damages, injuries, losses, or dissatisfaction arising from repair work performed by Network Partners
  • Service Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our referral services
  • Service Pros does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Network Partners
  • Any disputes regarding repair work, warranties, or services must be resolved directly with the Network Partner
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you directly to Service Pros (not to Network Partners)

10. Repair Warranties

Service Pros does not provide any warranties on repair work as we do not perform repairs. Any warranties on collision repair work are provided solely by the Network Partner who performs your repairs.

  • Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are determined by each Network Partner
  • You should request warranty information directly from your Network Partner before repairs begin
  • All warranty claims must be directed to the Network Partner who performed the work
  • Service Pros has no obligation to honor, mediate, or assist with warranty claims

11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes with Network Partners: Any disputes regarding repair work, warranties, pricing, or services provided by Network Partners must be resolved directly with that Network Partner. Service Pros is not a party to any agreement between you and a Network Partner and has no obligation to mediate or resolve such disputes.

Disputes with Service Pros: Any disputes arising from these terms or our referral services shall be:

  • First attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation
  • Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Los Angeles County, California
  • Governed by California state law without regard to conflict of law principles

12. Modifications to Terms

Service Pros reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Important: Service Pros is a referral service and is not licensed by the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) as we do not perform automotive repairs. Our Network Partners are independent collision repair facilities that should be licensed and regulated by BAR.

For complaints about repair work performed by a Network Partner, you should contact that business directly or file a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) at www.bar.ca.gov.
