Progressive claims start at 1-800-776-4737 or in the Progressive app. They'll route you to their Service Center Network (Concierge program) or a Direct Repair Program (DRP) shop. Convenient, but: Progressive's DRP shops have contractual targets to keep cycle times short and labor rates capped — which can compromise complex repairs.

You don't have to use a Progressive Service Center. California law guarantees your right to any licensed shop. Service Pros handles the entire interaction with Progressive on your behalf.

Progressive Concierge: Convenient, but Read the Fine Print

Progressive's Concierge program (drop your car at a Service Center, they handle everything) is genuinely convenient. The trade-off: they manage the repair to Progressive's specs, not yours. You give up control over which shop, which parts, and how long the repair takes.

If your damage is minor, Concierge is fine. If you have a luxury vehicle, complex damage, or want OEM parts, an independent shop is materially better — and Progressive must still pay.

If you were not at fault, filing a third-party claim against the at-fault driver typically does not raise your premium. If you were at fault and file under collision coverage, your rate may increase at renewal. Comprehensive claims (theft, vandalism, weather) usually do not raise rates.
