Call Travelers at 1-800-252-4633 or file via the Travelers MyT app. They'll route you toward their Travelers Repair Network. Travelers is generally fair on claims but defaults to aftermarket parts and aggressive labor rates.

Travelers Watch-Outs

Travelers is one of the more aggressive insurers on parts decisions. Two areas to push back on:

  • Aftermarket and recycled parts: Default unless you push for OEM. We make this case automatically on vehicles under 5 years old.
  • Labor rate caps: Travelers tries to cap labor at posted rates, which often run below LA market. Independent shops negotiate this regularly.

Most collision repairs take 1–3 weeks depending on damage severity and parts availability. Heavier structural damage on luxury or EV vehicles can run 4–6 weeks. You get a free rental car for the entire time your vehicle is in the shop, so you stay mobile.
If you were not at fault, filing a third-party claim against the at-fault driver typically does not raise your premium. If you were at fault and file under collision coverage, your rate may increase at renewal. Comprehensive claims (theft, vandalism, weather) usually do not raise rates.
